The Reverend Charles Timothy (Tim) and Marta Carriker are PC(USA) mission co-workers seconded to the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil and live in Florianopolis, in the southern state of Santa Catarina.  They serve in the Missionary Training Center in Florianopolis, where Tim is professor of mission and evangelism and Marta teaches linguistics.

Dr. Salvador and Irma de la Torre are a husband and wife doctor-nurse team who have extensive teaching and clinical experience at hospitals and universities in Mexico, Haiti, and Kenya.  Their most recent appointment was in 1998 when they joined the staff at Kikuyu Hospital in Kikuyu, Kenya, a mission hospital of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA).  Kikuyu Hospital is the oldest mission hospital in Kenya, established in 1908, and currently has three units:  the General hospital, the Eye Unit, and the Orthopedic Rehabilitation Unit.  It is located about 20 kilometers from Nairobi in an agricultural area.

Joe Dyer was appointed in January 2005 to serve with the Presbyterian Church of Sudan (PCOS).  He is assigned to work with the Presbyterian Relief and Development Associates (PRDA) of the PCOS, which provides support for Sudanese refugees in Kenya and in south Sudan.  In his role as consultant, Joe helps build capacity among the Sudanese people.  This is especially important in view of the impending peace accord and repatriation of Sudanese refugees.

Rev. Hunter and Ruth Farrell returned for a third term of service in Peru in 2002, working with the Presbyterian Hunger Program. Ruth specializes in micro-enterprise development, helping artisans to improve their products and increase sales. Hunter works with the Joining Hands Against Hunger Network, which works to address some of the causes of poverty in Peru. Previous mission work included five years in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After leaving Africa and before this assignment in Peru, the Farrells spent seven years in Louisville, where Hunter was the area coordinator for East and West Africa for the Worldwide Ministries Division of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Ruth worked as the director for Micro-enterprise Development at the Jewish Vocational and Family Center, and taught English as a second language in the adult educational program. The Farrells have three children, Ndaya, Billy and Andrew.

Andres and Gloria Garcia were appointed as mission co-workers in 1987, the Garcias have served the church in various capacities. After serving in Central America for 16 years (Costa Rica and El Salvador), the Garcias accepted an assignment in the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa, Equatorial Guinea, a small country in West Africa. The Garcias serve as evangelists and church administrators in partnership with the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Equatorial Guinea.

Donald and Laurie Marsden, together with their children, Hannah, Christiana, and Jeremiah, were chosen by the Worldwide Ministries Division to move to Moscow in August 1997.  They began their second term of service January 2001.  Donald is the founder of the Narnia Educational Center in Moscow, an interdenominational non-profit organization dedicated to producing Russian-language resources for children's ministry and training leaders for children's ministry.  The principal denomination with which Donald works is the Union of Evangelical Christian Baptists of the Russian Federation.
