LES PETITS CHANTEURS DE MONACO
(LITTLE SINGERS OF MONACO)
joined by Allegro Foundation Students
Thursday, July 15
On Thursday evening, July 15, we will be privileged to have Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco (The Little Singers of Monaco,) from the Cathedral in Monte Carlo, present a special concert in our Sanctuary at 7:30 p.m. This world-renowned Boy Choir has performed all over the world, representing the Principality of Monaco and Prince Albert.
Boys as young as nine years old can be part of the choir. The sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, altos and contraltos have a double mission: first, to be responsible for all the services in the Cathedral, and on the occasion of concert tours, bringing everywhere the Good News of Sacred Art and thus contributing to the spiritual and artistic interests of the Principality of Monaco.
Representing His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco will be the Archbishop of Monaco who will attend the performance.
Allegro Foundation Students, whose Christmas performances at the White House attracted the attention of their Ambassador, Mr. Pierre Debat, will also perform a number at this concert to music provided by our own high school Chapel Choir, entitled, “Look At the World” by John Rutter.
The concert is free and open to all. A free-will offering will be accepted.
