Our Children Need
YOU!

The new rotation model for Sunday School offers many opportunities for ADULTS to engage our children through teaching by using their unique skills and talents.

Consider the teaching possibilities of the rotation model:

  • §Broader intergenerational participation within the church allows for more relationships and fulfillment of our commitment to our children.
  • úLesson preparation that fits into busy lives.
  • úCollege-age  through  retirees can participate in flexible short-term scheduling.
  • úAllows adults time for their own Christian growth experiences.
  • §Allows adult talents and passions to shine. §
  • §Turn-key materials that are teacher-friendly

To learn more about teaching and shepherding opportunities, contact Kathy Porter or Christy Story.

§Exciting changes are coming to

K-5 Sunday School this Fall!

We will move to a workshop rotation model,  meaning:

  • úClassrooms are redesigned into creative,  kid-pleasing workshops that teach Bible stories.

  • úGroups of children rotate to a new workshop each week for the rotation period (3-6 weeks).

  • Only ONE Bible story/concept is taught during each 3-6 week rotation.  Every workshop focuses on a different way to teach the story to our kids.

  • úOne teacher remains in the same workshop for the complete rotation period, teaching the same lesson each week to a different group of children.
