Family Promise of Charlotte

Family Promise is a network of churches in the Charlotte area that provides food, shelter, and support services for families in need of transitional housing. The goal of Family Promise is to enable families to obtain self-sufficiency.

We are preparing for the next hosting opportunity for Family Promise at the Francis House: 

May 11 - 18

We need host volunteers to stay at the Francis House - four-hour shifts during the early evening (5:15 pm to 9:00 pm); sleep-in shifts overnight (9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), and day hosts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  We also have openings for dinner meals. 

We continue to accept donations of household items for Family Promise graduates.  In addition, the following supplies are needed for the Francis House.  A collection box is located under the back stairs in Education Hall near the Community Service cabinet.
