Family Promise of Charlotte

 Family Promise is a network of churches in the Charlotte are that provides food, shelter, and support services for families in need of transitional housing.  The goal of Family Promise is to enable families to obtain self-sufficiency.

Sardis is in its fourth season of hosting homeless families at the Francis House, and our next hosting week will be July 11-18. 

We will need many volunteers to provide the meals and serve as dinner, overnight, and weekend hosts during our host week in July.

 

We need host volunteers to stay at the Francis House - four-hour shifts during the early evening (5:15 pm to 9:00 pm); sleep-in shifts overnight (9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), and day hosts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  We also have openings for dinner meals.
