Any Old Eyeglasses Around Your House?

Have you noticed a large box at the Gathering Place? We are hoping you will deposit your old eyeglasses or hearing aids in this collection box. These items can be used by people in need, so gather up what you aren't using and bring them to Sardis.

The Lions Club makes a major project of recycling eyeglasses and hearing aids, and sending them to third world nations. Eyeglasses must be intact: none broken, and none without lenses. Sardis donated a large box of eyeglasses to the Lions Club in February.
