Loaves and Fishes has been crucial in the fight against hunger in Charlotte for more than 30 years. While we wait for the economy to turn around, the ranks of the working poor and unemployed are undiminished.  The help that Loaves and Fishes provides continues to be of vital importance.

Our first food drive of 2010 kicks off February 28. Bags will be available in the Narthex, the Gathering Place, and in the Education Building. Please fill your bags with non-perishables and bring them to church on February 28 or March 7.

While all non-perishable donations are greatly appreciated, items specifically requested at this time are canned meat, pork and beans, dried beans and rice, canned vegetables (except green beans and corn), and fruit juice (except apple). Collection boxes will be in the Education Building and in the Fellowship Hall Building.  Your constant generosity is appreciated!
