The Matthews HELP Center has been serving and caring for the people of Matthews and the surrounding communities since 1979. The center provides English as Second Language Classes (ESL), Crisis Assistance, Information and Referral, Community Connections, Health-related Services, Food and Nutrition Services, and a Thrift Shop.

The Matthews HELP Center Needs Your Assistance!
The Food Pantry is low on saltine crackers and macaroni & cheese boxes to assist those in need. Other needs include: extra-large black trash bags, 13-gallon trash bags, and letter-sized manila folders. Any size donation is greatly appreciated!
Donations may be dropped off at the Matthews HELP Center, 119 N. Ames Street in downtown Matthews.
