The Sardis Garden 08.jpg

Just across the street, Sardis members tend to a garden every summer to

grow fresh vegetables for low-income families in Charlotte.

William Marek, member of Boy Scout Troop 33, will be leading the Sardis

garden this summer to fulfill his Eagle project requirements. He is working

closely with Community Service member Jim Monroe, who worked hard this

spring to ensure that the garden would be ready in time for planting.

If you are interested in volunteering to help with any aspects of the garden,

please email William or call him at 704-821-3106.  He will then let you know exactly when volunteers will be needed.

Thank you for your support; together, we can sow seeds of hope and harvest

them for our neighbors in need.
