Holy Week Services
Palm Sunday
March 28
Children will assemble at 8:50 a.m. & 10:50 a.m. for the traditional
Palm Sunday Procession. After laying their branches at the front, they will sit with their families. Following the service, children who participated may pick up a palm branch to take home to remind them of the importance of Holy Week.
*Parents: If your child cannot find you in the Sanctuary, adults will walk them to the back of the Sanctuary where you can meet them. We will be glad to take the preschoolers to the Children's Building, just tell us that morning.

Maundy Thursday
April 1, 7:30 p.m.
Communion/Tenebrae Service
Tenebrae is a Latin word, which means shadows. The gradual dimming is symbolic of the flight of the disciples and the resentment of the world. At the conclusion of the final anthem, the Master Candle is extinguished, in recollection of the Crucifixion and Christ’s three days in the tomb. Many in the congregation see this as the most meaningful service they attend each year.
