Stewardship Guiding Principles

As we approach the fall stewardship season, we hope everyone will take some time to consider and pray about the following thoughts related to stewardship:

¨ Stewardship is built on the generosity of God.

¨ Stewardship helps us to understand our relationship with God.

¨ Stewardship is measured by faithfulness, not by accumulation.

¨ Stewardship implies a sharing of our blessings in our lives.

¨ Stewardship is spiritual.

¨ Stewardship is an act of love as Jesus allows us to love others as he loved us.

¨ Stewardship transcends all ages.

¨ Stewardship encompasses a person’s time, talents, and financial resources, as well as their heart.

¨ Stewardship accents the positive in that we reserve the best for God.

¨ Stewardship demonstrates the strengths of Sardis by spreading the good news of salvation.
