Our Partnership with Rama Road Elementary

Sardis Presbyterian has made a commitment to support Rama students in getting the education they need to break the cycle of poverty.

Test scores improved again last year, and the principal at Rama Road credits the work of our volunteers in this continued improvement.  There are many children who can benefit from a tutor during or after school or the one on one attention of a lunch buddy. 

Please consider giving an hour a week in one of the following positions:

• Lunch Buddy 
• After-School Tutor
• Classroom Tutor
• Library Assistant
• Office Assistant
• Classroom Assistant/Room Representative
• Sardis Tutoring Program (held at the church on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons)
